SIPPO Tunisia supports CEPEX at the INCOSMETICS 2022

SIPPO’s BSO-partner CEPEX participated for the second time as the national representative at the most important global cosmetic trade fair. SIPPO supported CEPEX with the aim of learning more about the specificities and challenges of the cosmetic sector, while promoting and enhancing the knowledge of the local offering of natural ingredients among the key players in the sector.

First, before the event, CEPEX organized two workshops in collaboration with SIPPO to learn about the trade and trends in the sector and to share the knowledge with Tunisian exporters in this field. Subsequently, an orientation mission was held on the sidelines of the INCOSMETICS trade fair. The aim was to explore the potential of the local supply, to exchange ideas and promote networking opportunities with key players in the cosmetics sector, to publicise the national offerings of prickly pear derivatives as high-quality raw material, and to learn more about buyers’ interests and expectations.

SIPPO planned a number of appointments for CEPEX with selected relevant contacts from the European market and Swiss buyers, thus  supporting its BSO-partner in achieving its objectives. In addition, SIPPO experts conducted benchmarking tours with the CEPEX delegation and the participating companies for on-site capacity building.

Participating in this event together with its partners from the PAMPAT project and IPD was very valuable for SIPPO. Together all participants were able to strengthen the capacities of CEPEX and the participating companies so that they could reach potential buyers even better – thanks to a comprehensive offer and convincing communication about prickly pear derivatives, the valuable ingredient for the cosmetic sector.
