SOUTH AFRICAN COUNTRY PAVILION AT SIAL, PARIS 2022
In implementing its strategy for successful participation at this leading trade fair for the food sector, SIPPO’s BSO partner, the dtic, completed a series of preparatory steps, including workshops, supported by SIPPO.
Under the leadership of the dtic, successful workshops took place in Pretoria and Cape Town, which included two site visits to companies in collaboration with Wesgro, supported by SIPPO. Companies from Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal also joined virtually, thus increasing the outreach of the event and allowing for the integration of digital tools.
Among the topics discussed were the growing importance of sustainability, the most dynamic product categories and segments and the trends shaping the European market. The workshops also covered the implications for the BSOs and their companies at SIAL.
