Continuation of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Training for BiH Companies
The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VTK/STK BiH), in collaboration with the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), continues to support companies in adapting to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Following the successful workshops for the Processed Food and Natural Ingredients sectors, VTK/STK BiH and SIPPO have expanded their efforts to include the Technical Wood and Value-Added Textiles sectors.
Recently, a two-day live training was organized in Sarajevo, attended by over 20 companies from these sectors. The training provided practical tools and strategies for integrating sustainability into business operations and preparing comprehensive sustainability reports. Industry experts Amela Lepić and Vedad Suljić led the sessions, offering insights into the key challenges and opportunities presented by the CSRD.
The workshops, designed to help companies meet the mandatory EU sustainability standards, will continue throughout 2025 with additional training sessions and company visits planned. By aligning with these standards, companies not only improve their operations and reduce costs but also open the door to new markets and opportunities.
VTK/STK BiH and SIPPO remain committed to supporting Bosnian companies in their journey toward sustainability. For more information on upcoming workshops and events, please visit our website at https://www.sippo.ba and follow our LinkedIn profile.
