Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World's Largest Food and Beverage Trade Fair - SIAL 2024
Bosnia and Herzegovina is making its mark on the global stage at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s largest trade fair for food and beverages. This year, a key focus has been corporate sustainability reporting, as BiH companies prepare for compliance with the EU's CSR directive.
The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VTK/STK BiH), in partnership with the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), played a pivotal role in supporting BiH companies on their journey to SIAL 2024. A series of online and in-person trainings were organized to guide businesses through the complexities of sustainability reporting. These efforts were further strengthened by in-depth company visits, which will continue even after the trade fair, ensuring long-term impact and compliance.
One standout participant is Jami d.o.o., a leading BiH company taking significant strides toward meeting the EU’s corporate sustainability standards. Their presence at SIAL is a strong testament to the country’s commitment to innovation and responsible business practices.
The FTC BiH team, led by Stanislava Perišić and Radoš Šehovac, has been instrumental in providing hands-on support to all participating BiH companies, ensuring their successful representation at this prestigious event.
